New build kitchens

I often receive enquiries from new homeowners who simply want to change the colour of their new kitchen.

This is without a doubt an ideal opportunity to put your own stamp on your new property. The kitchen below was in a property on the outskirts of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. The original colour was the factory finished cream that came from Howdens.

A light grey tone was decided. The client also requested the handles be changed to a more contemporary copper style.

Projects like this indeed need very little in the way of preparation. Adhesion primer followed by 2 topcoats, although some filling was required as they were slightly different to the old handles.

It certainly wasn’t a huge kitchen! The previous creamy yellow colour did not suit the client’s decor. The kitchen was from Howdens and had been fitted really well. All doors were nicely aligned. The end panels were also scribed perfectly to the walls. Hand painted kitchen Great Missenden

The client was very happy with the new look. Very little upheaval and also a fraction of the cost of replacement. In addition, this is also good for the environment.
